Amazing clip that covers 9 months in the womb in 4 minutes. One of the many things you’ll notice is that baby’s eyes open while still in the womb. It happens when mom is about 28 weeks pregnant and the retinas are fully developed. Not only do baby’s eyes open, but they begin to blink. Twins, in fact, can find and touch each others face or hold hands.
Interestingly, even through closed eyelids, as early as 18 weeks, baby can detect light filtering through mom’s body if she’s out sunbathing and at around week 33, baby’s pupils are able to constrict and dilate allowing baby to begin seeing vague shapes..
